Mathildas Market Malvern

Chelsie Sharp - Saturday, June 12, 2010

Love Paper Scissors had a great market debut at the gorgeous Malvern Town Hall on May 30th.  My helper for the day was Bec, and I would have been at a loss without her, so thanks Bec.  xx  We loaded up the car on Saturday morning, and I mean loaded to the top !!  After dragging ourselves out of bed at a friends house in Surrey Hills at 6am Sunday, (and hardly sleeping all night due to the jitters)!! we arrived and were last to set up after a few stall design changes.  The large frames and weight of my items is not at all conducive to a quick set up we discovered.  The feedback and sales on the day from the all the marketeers was amazing.  The fairies, unicorns and cats were a big hit as were the gorgeous butterflies and dragonflies.  We were also well and truly last to leave after a nice order at the end that required some frame changes.  Repacking the car was another story all together!!  Looking forward to the Sugar and Spice Childrens Market at Woodend next Sunday - fantastic to see supermum Ali Bant running a top end market in a regional town.
