Discover Gorgeous Homewares at Salisbury and Maude Beechworth

Chelsie Sharp - Monday, August 23, 2010

If you have ever been lucky enough to visit the historic town of Beechworth in North East Victoria I'm sure you have been charmed by the delectable homewares store Salisbury and Maude.  It's impossible to walk past without being intrigued by the gorgeous mix of furnishings, artwork and fresh flowers inside.  Sarah Stamm, the talented designer and owner of Salisbury and Maude grew up in the friendly country environment of Albury, NSW. In 1994 Sarah was selected for entry into what was considered as the most highly regarded and prestigious Interior Design course offered in Australia, at the Sydney Institute of Technology.

Sarah was honoured as the top graduate in the year 2000, and was awarded Certificate Of Merit for her outstanding efforts.  Since 1994 Sarah has been employed by leading architecture and design firms in Sydney as well as establishing her own, very successful Interior Design practice on Sydney’s North Shore.

I LOVE the variety of gorgeous homewares Sarah sources, it's almost impossible to leave empty handed and without something on your wish list!

Looking to bring up her children in a rural setting, Sarah, her husband and two children moved to Beechworth, North East Victoria, in 2004 where she once again launched her Interior Design business and created the ever expanding brand of Salisbury and Maude.

Salisbury and Maude invite you to visit their showroom to discuss your design requirements and to browse through their collection of exquisite and luxurious products. To fill your spaces with pleasure and beauty Salisbury and Maude stock elegant furnishings, lighting, home wares, accessories and artwork, together with beautiful fabrics and wallpapers from leading international designers.

Salisbury and Maude also have THE MOST AMAZING FRESH FLOWERS EVER!....and Sarah, being a designer, puts together beautiful displays and bunches.

Love Paper Scissors Headquarters Under Attack !!

Chelsie Sharp - Wednesday, August 11, 2010
Love Paper Scissors Headquarters, aka my home LOL, was pelted with hail stones yesterday.  The noise was absolutely deafening, you may have seen the twister in neighbouring Moama on the National News that took someones roof off!  These are picture of my poor font yard, I hope the plants survive.

While all this was going on I was busy making up an order of butterfliesdragonflies and sailing boats for one of my favorite stores Salisbury and Maude in Beechworth.  Sarah from Salisbury and Maude sells so many that she almost keeps me in business all on her own!!
